CSPI Joins the Real-Time Payments Revolution

CSPI Joins the Real-Time Payments Revolution

Jefferson City, MO – Computer Service Professionals, Inc. (CSPI), a fintech provider of core, digital banking, document management, item processing solutions, and managed IT services, announced today, that their first Aurora Advantage CU core client has gone live with The Clearing House RTP® network through a partnership with Corporate America Credit Union. RTP® network is a real-time payments platform that all federally insured U.S. depository institutions are eligible to use for payments innovation, to enhance digital services for both commercial and retail customers.

“CSPI recognizes the need for faster payments, and we know our Credit Union core clients want to be on the leading edge,” stated Rebecca Plunkett, Application Analyst Supervisor for CSPI.  This initial implementation will allow members of the credit union to receive qualifying credit transfers that will post to their accounts within seconds, providing more control over cash flow, and quicker access to funds.

The RTP network is strictly “credit push,” meaning that the person making the payment instructs its financial institution to make the payment. Credit push transactions reduce certain types of fraud risk. CSPI will continue to work with our partners and financial institutions on solutions that allow them to enhance the payment experience.

About The Clearing House

The Clearing House operates U.S-based payments networks that clear and settle more than $2 trillion each day through wire, ACH, check image, and real-time payments. It is the nation’s most experienced payments company, with a long track record of providing secure and reliable systems, payments innovation, and strategic thought leadership to financial institutions. Most recently, The Clearing House has revolutionized U.S. payments infrastructure with the RTP® network, which supports the immediate clearing and settlement of payments, along with the ability to exchange related payment information across the same secure channel. These RTP capabilities enable all financial institutions to offer safer, faster, and smarter digital transaction services for their corporate and retail customers.

Integration enables real-time eSignatures to provide superior customer experience

November 03, 2021 08:15 AM Eastern Daylight Time

RAHWAY, N.J.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–IMM, the only eSignature provider that specializes in eSignature and digital transaction solutions exclusively for financial institutions, today announced it has partnered with Missouri-based Computer Service Professionals Inc. (CSPI), a fintech provider of core, digital banking, document management and item processing solutions, to give community financial institutions a more streamlined, enhanced digital banking platform. IMM’s flagship eSignature platform, IMM eSign, will be integrated with CSPI’s Aurora Advantage Digital Banking product suite.

Electronic Signature

Kurt Luebbering, Chief Operations Officer, CSPI, said, “We conducted an extensive review process, and after compiling our research and seeking customer and industry partner recommendations, IMM was the clear choice. Like CSPI, IMM focuses on the financial industry, has excellent industry credibility, is committed to excellent customer service and ensures its solutions address the unique challenges facing community financial institutions. Grow Member Relations & Your Bottom Line Utilizing Account Cross-Sell

Grow Member Relations & Your Bottom Line Utilizing Account Cross-Sell

In a world where everything is just one click away, Credit Unions are seeking to capitalize on competitive advantages to grow member relations while generating more revenue to boost the bottom line.  The popular term “cash is king” is increasingly being substituted with “it’s all in the data.”

The Aurora Advantage CU core solution has incorporated Account Cross-Sell to help Credit Unions analyze data to easily identify new opportunities of interest to their members. You may be wondering, “What is Account Cross-Sell?”  To cross-sell is to sell related or complementary products to a customer or member.  Account Cross-Sell allows the Credit Union to create marketing campaigns based on defined benchmarks. For instance, with the holidays quickly approaching, it’s an ideal time to create a marketing campaign for Holiday Loans.  Credit Union employees can eliminate wasted time by defining  pre-qualifying criteria to help auto-decision or preapprove members:

  • Credit Score Rating Above X
  • Share Draft or Savings Account Balance Above X
  • No Delinquent Loan Payments in the Past X months

When a member meets the defined criteria, they are preapproved for the loan.  This allows your teller line to be prompted, complete with a custom marketing script, to offer a low-risk Holiday Loan while completing a transaction. CU’s can also target this predefined group with email marketing or call campaigns.

Account Cross-Sell takes member services to a new level, maximizing performance using accessible, accurate and timely decision-support and business intelligence information to help convert member interactions into sales opportunities.

Digital Banking: No Matter Where You Find Yourself in the World

Digital Banking: No Matter Where You Find Yourself in the World

Kiester, MN – May 17, 2021 | Press Release

Global Innovations Bank partners with Computer Service Professionals, Inc. (CSPI) to deliver an enhanced digital banking experience to U.S. service members. The vision for Global Fidelity Corp., the holding company for G.I. Bill Pay Service and Global Innovations Bank, started more than 20 years ago when two veterans recognized the need to improve financial services for our U.S. service members while being deployed around the world.

Imagine graduating high school, moving out of your parents’ home, surviving boot camp training and later being stationed half way around the globe. Adjusting to new duties, languages, and living quarters is enough to create stress for any one individual but let’s not forget about the importance of securing your financial obligations. This is where G.I. Bill Pay Service (GIBP) and Global Innovations Bank are dedicated to alleviating the burden of financial management for U.S. service members and veterans.

“CSPI looks forward to growing alongside Global Innovations Bank in the years to come,” stated Brad Epple, President and CEO at CSPI. “We are honored to provide digital banking services for those committed to serving and protecting our country.”

Global Banking
Banking wherever in the world you are.

International Bill Pay Services

G.I. Bill Pay Service (GIBP) is committed to helping nearly 19,000 U.S. military personnel and affiliates pay their bills while stationed overseas. GIBP is simple to use and takes the confusion and hassle out of managing foreign bills. GIBP has offices stationed in Japan, Korea and Germany. GIBP’s bilingual staff helps translate bills and mediate with host nation vendors to resolve problems with bills or the service they are providing.

Online and Mobile Banking

“Our team is on a mission to create a frictionless digital banking experience for service members and veterans, so matter where they find themselves in the world, they know our team is solely focused and ready to support their needs,” stated Katie Blando (Barnes), Managing Director of Global Fidelity Corp. “As we evaluated online and mobile banking providers, it was important to ensure they met all requirements to meet our customer’s needs.”

We knew we needed an intuitive platform for our customers that would provide services beyond the basic transactional level items such as viewing account balances, initiating account transfers and viewing electronic statements. CSPI’s Aurora Online and Mobile Banking platform provided a modern bill payment platform through Allied Payment Network for domestic transactions that incorporated both eBills and Person-to-Person (P2P) transfers.

Global Innovations uses Shazam for its debit card program and the Shazam Brella debit card management controls are integrated in the Aurora Mobile Banking app.  By providing customers access to card information, the ability to receive fraud alerts and temporarily pause transactions when not in use, users are able to quickly detect and minimize fraudulent debit card transactions.

“While we were thrilled with CSPI’s product offerings, ultimately, it was their human capital that set them apart from their competition. From the initial product demo to implementation, their team was always available to answer questions and guide us through the process. We appreciated a smooth transition for both our team and our customers,” stated Blando. “Thanks to our partnership with CSPI, we look forward to expanding our product offerings, customer base, and better serving our U.S. service members and affiliates.”
